Raise your profile strength
What the profile strength percentage means and the quickest ways to raise it.
The profile strength meter on your Dashboard shows how complete your profile is. Under it, we list the steps left, like "2 steps to 100%".
Why it matters
Scout ranks jobs using what's in your profile. The more it knows, the better your matches. Recruiters searching TalnFlo also see stronger profiles first.
The steps that help most
- Add a link to your work. A GitHub profile, portfolio or personal site gives Scout real evidence of what you do.
- Get verified. A short ID check adds a verified badge to your profile and Card.
- Fill in your experience. Titles, dates and a line or two on what you shipped.
- Set your preferences. Location, remote or on-site, and salary range.
Each step shows how much it adds to your strength, so you can pick the ones worth your time first.
